HOUSTON (WVUE) – The Beyhive is buzzing with excitement and speculation after the music icon teased a mysterious announcement set for Jan. 14, 2025, following her highly anticipated halftime performance at the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day.
The 32-time Grammy Award winner turned the NFL’s annual holiday showcase into a memorable event, calling the show “A Cowboy Carter Christmas.” But the lights dimmed on her performance, leaving the Beyhive with just more than memories as she posted the Jan. 14 date across her social media, sparking fan theories.
Act III in the works?
The most prominent theory revolves around the potential release of the third installment in her much-discussed album trilogy.
In July 2022, Beyoncé released “Renaissance,” her seventh studio album, which won four Grammy Awards in 2023, including Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.
The record-breaking project was revealed to be the first part of a three-act series. While the second act, Cowboy Carter, made waves this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting Act III. Many believe Jan. 14 could finally mark its debut.
A New Tour?
Others are hoping for a tour announcement, reigniting hopes that Beyoncé will take the stage once more. Her “Renaissance Tour” in 2023 was a commercial and critical triumph, cementing her status as one of the world’s most outstanding live performers.
Re-watch her performance
Netflix announced that Beyoncé’s halftime performance will soon be available to stream as a standalone special.
“Enjoy the Ho Ho Ho-down all over again,” Netflix teased in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Beyoncé’s show-stopping #NFLonNetflix Halftime performance will be available on Netflix as a standalone special. Coming soon…”
According to Variety, the special will be available on-demand later this week. Previously, the performance was accessible only for a few hours on Christmas Day due to NFL broadcasting restrictions.
