WASHINGTON – The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has unveiled a special-edition SmarTrip card celebrating Donald J. Trump’s return to the Oval Office.
The Commemorative Inauguration SmarTrip Card is a rechargeable fare card that can hold up to $300 in stored value, according to WMATA.
It features a photo of Trump on a red background with the number “47” in bold behind him and the inscription, “The Inauguration of Donald J. Trump 45th and 47th President of the United States.”

The cards are available for purchase at select Metro stations across the DMV area, including Union Station, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and L’Enfant Plaza, among others.
However, WMATA noted that they are already sold out at the Metro Center station.
To activate the card, users must add a fare or purchase a 1-Day unlimited pass for $13.50, along with a $2 SmarTrip fee.
