The weather is deteriorating in Baden-Württemberg, people are staying more and more at home. The Ministry of Health has now determined whether the Corona rules should be adjusted.
The temperatures drop, the weather deteriorates. Typically, this means people are staying indoors more and more. Is the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Health therefore considering adapting the Infection Protection Act? The ministry announced on Friday: “Only if the infection situation threatens to deteriorate significantly in autumn and winter are further measures under the Infection Protection Act necessary.” This means that in Baden-Württemberg, despite the increasingly cold weather, the measures against the corona pandemic will not be tightened for the time being.
Small changes for people
The Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the regulations currently in force in the country will be kept from October 1 and only adapted to the new federal law on protection against infection. So little will change for the people of the country.
In Germany, certain mask and test requirements against Corona will apply again in autumn and winter. This provides for new rules to deal with the pandemic, which the Federal Council decided on Friday in Berlin. A mask requirement applies nationwide in long-distance trains, clinics and doctors’ surgeries. Countries can also reintroduce mask-wearing in restaurants and other indoor spaces. There should be no more lockdowns, business or school closures.
