The KSW 80 gala will take place on 17 March 2023 in Lubin. The fight card for the popular MMA event promises to be interesting, it is almost complete. Traditionally, there were problems with injuries, so there were changes in the program. Check out who’s fighting at KSW 80. Robert Ruchała from Nowy Sącz will appear in tonight’s match.
The highlight of the KSW 80 program was the clash between Robert Ruchala (8-0, 3 under) and Dawid Śmiełowski – for an interim featherweight belt. However, the latter suffered a shoulder injury during the pre-season, so there was a significant change at the end of February.
The vacancy could have been taken by Daniel Rutkowski, the leader of the featherweight rankings, but he resigned because he recently healed the injury and it was not possible to quickly agree on a new contract with the KSW authorities. Gloves were taken by No. 2 on the list – Lom-Ali Eskiev (20-6 1NC, 9 KO, 3 sub). The ranking of tonight’s fight is the same – for the interim belt.
For 24-year-old Ruchała, who comes from Nowy Sącz, it will be a great chance for the title of champion. He has 8 wins. Eskiev (German of Chechen descent) fights three times in the KSW cage and recently lost to Rutkowski.
The last points on the fight card are Yasmin Guimaraes, the Brazilian will fight Emilia Czerwińska and Patryk Chrobak, who will replace the injured Kamil Szkaradek in the fight against Przemysław Górny.
