Ski jumping by the sea. When the sappers helped in the construction of the Sopot rafters

After the war, the Tri-City was a skiing powerhouse, and in Sopot a ski jump was even built on the slope of Łysa Góra, rising 110 meters above the resort. The chronicle of the Budowlani Gdańsk ski section – founded in 1952 and running until 1956 – recalls those days.
